Devkali Temple
Devkali Mandir is a major Siddha Shakti Peeth near Ayodhya. It is believed that King Dashrath constructed this temple for Mata Sita. The sacred Chhoti Devkali Mandir is located in Ayodhya and is the primary Siddha Shakti Peeth in the area. After her wedding to Lord Rama, Mother Sita arrived at Ayodhya with an idol of Goddess Girija Devi. King Dashrath built a lovely temple for the idol, and Mother Sita worshipped the Devi there. An impressive and beautiful statue of the local divinity, Goddess Devkali, is presently present. It is thought that offering adoration at this sacred temple grants all of the devotees’ requests.Â
For devotees, Shri Ram’s Kuldevi Deokaali Temple is of utmost importance. Worshipping Goddess Devkali is thought to bring protection from evil, salvation, ego destruction, and liberation. It is known as Lord Rama’s Kuldevi temple, which adds to its spiritual significance.
The temple is entirely made of marble. A large heavy brass bell hangs at the main gate before entering the sanctum sanctorum. The red flag of the mother waves from a dome that is built on top of the temple’s circular sanctum sanctorum. The sanctum sanctorum houses the idol of Goddess Devkali, which is considered extraordinary due to the convergence of three superpowers. The idols of Mahalakshmi, Mahakali, and Mahasaraswati are enshrined together, creating a one-of-a-kind sight.
